The media could not be loaded.I like these overall. They hold a good amount. They’ll break down quickly instead of adding more plastic to a landfill. They don’t leak or bleed oil through to the outside (what you see in my images is Lush deodorant that I melted and poured into a tube— with no leaks). They’re easy to label with a marker or a sticker, if desired. The lid is easy to pull off but stays in place. You see a little bit of the white layer underneath because I pushed my deodorant up to be able to use it, but that means the lid doesn’t sit flush with the top of the tube. I removed a star from my review because the piece of cardboard that you push up the contents with is really difficult to use, since 1) the size of it is slightly too big so it reeeally wedges itself in there more than it needs to and 2) the shape of the tube means you either have to have man-hands with crazy long fingers to reach it after it has passed about halfway or else use a little tool. I used a little glass bottle that would fit up in the tube and still had to push pretty hard, even with that leverage. A tiny funnel was included in the box with the cardboard tubes (see photo two) but it’s smaller than the opening of the tube, rendering it useless. It was a good thought, but poorly executed because it’s easier to pour directly into the tube than the funnel. At $20, this set is at least twice the price it ought to be.
